- Delray Beach
Delray Beach is a beach town on the Atlantic Ocean in Palm Beach County, Florida. The beach is also known as Delray Beach. The boardwalk has many shops and restaurants, a dog park, and playgrounds for people to enjoy. You can also walk out onto several piers if you want to see some dolphins!
The beach is about 3 miles long, so it’s a great place to spend an afternoon. Many stores and restaurants along Atlantic Avenue exist if you do not want to miss the shopping time. Some museums are nearby, such as the Norton Museum of Art and A Place for Us.
- John D. MacArthur Beach State Walk
John D. MacArthur Beach State Walk is a 1.5-mile-long beachfront park in Palm Beach, Florida. It was named after John D. MacArthur, who donated the land to the state of Florida in 1969 as part of his will and made it available for public use and enjoyment by all Floridians.
This stretch of land offers an outdoor concert venue such as Boca West (which has hosted artists like Paul McCartney) or reggae concerts at Market Square Park. This spot is near this popular spot for sunbathing or swimming with friends or family members during summertime when temperatures rise above 80 degrees Fahrenheit!
- Carlin Park
Carlin Park is in Jupiter, Florida. It’s open from sunrise to sunset and a great place to spend the day with friends and family. The park has a spacious playground for children, plenty of picnic tables and grills to enjoy your food on, and a boardwalk leading you down onto the beach or into the water; if you want some exercise, there are also fishing piers available as well.
The park also has a pavilion that you can rent out for events and parties. There are restrooms available inside the park as well as outside by the beach. The park is at 4200 Fisherman’s Wharf Drive, Jupiter, FL 33458. It is right off Indiantown Road in Jupiter.
- Lake Worth Beach
This beach is in south Palm Beach County. Lake Worth Beach is a popular destination for beachgoers. This area is home to numerous iconic landmarks like the Roseanna Barr Nature Center and Butterfly Garden at Lake Worth Lagoon.
If you want to be active or take a break from sunbathing on your vacation, plenty of activities are available at this beach! You can rent bikes or kayaks from the concession stand and explore the surrounding area by boat (or foot). Or go swimming in the lagoon if you don’t feel like getting wet when it’s hot outside.
Summertime may not be as hot here as in different parts of Florida, but there still isn’t much difference between summer and winter temperatures—no need for sunscreen! If you’re looking for somewhere close enough so that driving won’t be necessary but far enough away so that staying overnight isn’t necessary either, this could be just right!
- Gulfstream Park
Gulfstream Park is a popular spot for walking and running. The park has an outdoor shopping center, a dog park, and playgrounds for kids to enjoy. There are also multiple restaurants nearby if you’re looking for some food after your walk or run!
While Gulfstream Park may not have the most beautiful beaches in West Palm Beach, it certainly offers numerous things to do when visiting this area! If you’re looking for something more adventurous than just lounging on the sand, then check out one of these other options:
- Ocean Reef Park
Ocean Reef Park is in Riviera Beach, Florida. The park features picnic tables, restrooms, playgrounds, and lifeguards on duty.
This park is open to get you relaxing time from sunrise to sunset and has parking for up to 100 cars. There are also dog parks in this area if you’re looking for an option outside your home!

- Juno Beach
Juno Beach is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Miami–Fort Lauderdale–West Palm Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Juno Beach sits on the barrier island that separates it from mainland Florida and is located about 15 minutes south of West Palm Beach along U.S. 1 (also known as Military Trail). The name Juno comes from Jupiter’s wife, Juno [or Jove], because she had white hair and wore white clothes so they would not get dirty while she worked with her husband on Earthly affairs like making rainbows or other things like that!
- Peanut Island
Peanut Island is an artificial island in Palm Beach, Florida. The US Army Corps of Engineers created it in 1919 to protect the Palm Beach Inlet from flooding and erosion. The name “Peanut Island” comes from its shape: it looks like a peanut when viewed from above.
The island has been known as a public park since 1926, but now it has several facilities, including:
- a beachfront pool (with an observation tower)
- two playgrounds and ball fields
- restrooms and showers; picnic tables
- volleyball nets and basketball courts on both sides of Peanut Island’s main road (which winds around the entire perimeter)
- Softball fields on one end near its southern tip—all surrounded by palm trees with views out over Lake Worth Lagoon, where boats float by during springtime high tides!
- Palm Beach
Palm Beach is the most exclusive of all the West Palm Beach beaches, and it’s a barrier island that sits between Lake Worth Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. The area is home to many mansions, including The Breakers Hotel, built in 1895 by William Randolph Hearst.
The sand on the beach is white and clean, and the water is clear and shallow. The beach is known for its high-end shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and real estate prices. There are many mansions along this stretch of beach and some high-end hotels.
- Oceanfront Park
Oceanfront Park is a public beach on Singer Island, just south of downtown West Palm Beach. It’s the top place to go if you’re looking for a family-friendly beach to spend your day.
Oceanfront Park has two large areas: The main parking lot and another area that has picnic tables, playground equipment, and restrooms. There’s also hefty room for everyone to enjoy themselves in this beautiful setting along the oceanfront
