One of the 581 rooms overlooking the city, where you can kick back and take in the sights after a long day.

Kids receive a special gift at check-in, and parents appreciate the complimentary Internet access.

Guests can request a crib and stay in adjoining rooms.

After a long day of sightseeing, hire a babysitter so you can enjoy a night out on the town without the kids.

  1. Bar Harbor Grand Hotel — Bar Harbor, ME

In Bar Harbor, Maine, at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel, you’ll find one of the best resorts on the East Coast.

Although it is one of the more recently built hotels in the area, the establishment is at least a century old.

Although the Witham Family Hotel isn’t a 5-star establishment, guests keep coming back because of its convenient location, friendly staff, and pleasant accommodations.

There are 70 fewer rooms at this hotel than at the Rodick House in Maine, which served as inspiration, but the two properties are otherwise strikingly similar.

Families can feel at home in the room sizes provided, and everyone will appreciate the daily buffet breakfast.

Take advantage of this first-rate family resort in Maine’s scenic outdoors after a day of sightseeing.

  1. Conrad New York — New York City

Conrad While it may be one of the newest hotels in NYC, New York has quickly become one of my favorite family hotels on the East Coast.

A short distance from the World Trade Center, this waterfront property features stunning artwork and Sol LeWitt’s mammoth Loopy Doopy installation.

There are 436 suites available at the hotel, all of which are spacious enough to accommodate multiple guests comfortably.

In addition, some suites feature two double beds and a pullout sofa.

The bathrooms are beautiful and practical, but remember that your kids might not want to leave the tub.

On-site recreation facilities include a gym.

  1. Congress Hall — Jersey Shore, NJ

Congress Hall in Jersey Shore, New Jersey, is another well-liked family resort on the eastern seaboard of the United States.

This place and the private Congress Beach across the street can make for a great vacation spot if you’re looking for a quick trip to the beach.

Guests can use the free umbrellas, chairs, and towels at the beach or pay to use the private cabanas.

A fantastic pool and a kids’ program for those with children aged 4 to 12 are available if you’d instead relax at the hotel.

Only in July and August can you participate in this program.

The Blue Pig, the on-site restaurant, serves all three meals and has suitable options for children.

  1. Ocean House — Newport, RI

The Ocean House in Newport, Rhode Island, has been around for quite some time, but the interior has been updated to reflect contemporary standards of luxury.

While there were many more rooms available in the past, only 49 rooms and suites are now available.

These are large, making them ideal for a family trip to the East Coast.

The hotel features a luxurious spa, a well-equipped fitness center, and an outdoor pool.

The Avenue Inn & Spa, located in New York, is another excellent option for a relaxing family vacation on the East Coast.

The fact that pets are allowed is a significant plus.

Children are welcome to help themselves with new, unopened toys from a toy chest available during the property’s complimentary wine hours for parents.
