Winner of the Best Overall Newspaper:
The university of California, Berkeley’s _The Daily Californian_ took home the top honor, impressing judges with its in-depth coverage of local and national issues, as well as its innovative storytelling and design.
Winner of the Best Investigative Reporting:
Emily Johnson, a junior at Northwestern University, won for her exposé on the university’s handling of sexual misconduct cases. Her meticulous research and courageous reporting shed light on a critical issue, sparking important conversations on campus.
Winner of the Best Editorial Cartooning:
Sophomore Rachel Lee from the University of Texas at Austin was recognized for her thought-provoking and visually stunning cartoons, which tackled topics ranging from politics to social justice.
