What Is On The GRE Test?

The GRE test is designed to test several skills and subjects that you should have been taught during high school. This includes verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing. 

This exam contains college-level vocabulary, so it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with this type of content beforehand. Also, the exam is known to include plenty of mathematics questions, including basic algebra, trigonometry, and geometry.

GRE Test General Information

This test can be taken during most weekdays year-round. However, you will have to register beforehand. The exam lasts 3 hours and 45 minutes, and it costs upwards of $200 to take. 

The max score that you will obtain is 170, and the average score amongst students is 150.8. You should aim for this score at a minimum to be considered for admission to business school. 

Once you have taken the exam, your score will remain valid for a maximum of 5 years. Your high school GPA is weighted equally during the admissions process, so you cannot simply rely on this exam to get you accepted into the college of your choice.
