So, what is social and emotional learning?

Social and emotional learning occurs when people interact with each other. It is the process of improving one’s ability to understand and respond to social emotions and social interaction.

In general, social and emotional learning can be divided into four main categories:

1, Interpersonal social learning takes place when people learn to interact with each other in a healthy way.

2. Interpersonal cognitive learning is when people learn to think critically and problem-solve in social contexts. This can involve learning how to understand others, how to make decisions based on evidence, and how to communicate with others.

3. Social emotional learning is where people learn to understand and manage social emotions.

4. Group social learning is when people learn to interact with a group of people in a healthy way. This can involve learning how to identify and respond to social emotions, learning how to build relationships with others, and learning how to manage social interactions.

Interpersonal social learning, group social learning, and social emotional learning are all different types of learning that can improve people’s ability to understand and respond to social emotions. They can also improve people’s ability to build relationships with others, and to manage social interactions.
