Baseball Activities for Your Little Ones

Baseball is a great game for little ones. There are a variety of activities you can do to get them involved in the game. Here are some suggestions to get you started:

1. Start with a simple game at home. Have your little ones stand in a line and try to hit a ball to someone in the next line over. In addition to trying to hit the ball, be sure to toss it back and forth to your friends.

2. If you live in a climate where it’s cold outside, try playing baseball in the backyard. Pitch and catch the ball as it’s bouncing around.

3. Encourage your little ones to use all their senses when playing baseball. Make sure they watch the ball as it’s being hit and listen for the sound it makes as it hits the ground.

4. Have your little ones try to hit a home run. This can be a fun challenge for them. The best way to help them achieve this goal is to set up some boundaries. For example, say that the little ones can only hit the ball if it’s hit toward a certain part of the yard.

5. Try playing a game of catch. Have your little ones sit in a circle and pass the ball around to each other. The objective is to get the ball as close to your chest as possible.
