Oklahoma City University (OCU) welcomed Bill Raynor, a seasoned athletics director, to its campus on July 22nd. Raynor, who previously served as Director of Athletics at MassBay Community College, will take on the role of Interim Athletics Director at the esteemed university.
Raynor brings a wealth of experience to OCU, having successfully led athletics programs at both the community college and university levels. His career has been marked by a dedication to fostering student-athlete development and cultivating a culture of excellence within the athletic sphere.
“I am thrilled to join the OCU community,” shared Raynor. “The university has a strong tradition of academic and athletic success, and I look forward to working alongside the talented coaches, staff, and student-athletes to continue building upon that legacy.”
Beyond his administrative prowess, Raynor is also a published author, with his work “Poetry in Motion” showcasing his passion for the power of language and its connection to the human experience.
“His diverse background and leadership skills make him an ideal fit for this interim role,” stated OCU President, Dr. Robert Henry. “We are confident that Bill will provide invaluable guidance and direction to our athletic programs during this transition period.”
