Clark Atlanta University, CAU, is a young institution that was formed in 1988 with the consolidation of Clark College and Atlanta University. The consolidated institution has quickly made a name for itself and frequently appears on lists of the country’s best historically black colleges and universities. The institution has a large selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from. A robust student/faculty ratio backs students, and professors take a personalized approach to the teaching and learning process. Outside of the classroom, students will find plenty of opportunities to engage with the campus community via the university’s many clubs and organizations. The Clark Atlanta Panthers play in the NCAA Division II Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
