Place the container in a place where it will be safe from pets and children, and then wait until the volcano has formed. Watch as the mixture begins to form a volcano shape!
4. Make a solar system model.
This is a more complex science experiment, but it’s one that is sure to fascinate your child. You will need some plastic cups, straws, and modeling clay. Start by putting a small amount of clay inside each of the cups. Then, use the straws to fill the cups with water, so that the clay is fully submerged. Allow the cups to dry, and then display them in a science lab or bedroom. Your child will be able to learn about the different elements of a solar system by observing the cups in action!
5. Make a fly trap.
This is a fun and easy science experiment that your child can do at home. All you need is some sugar, water, and a small container. Place the container in a place where flies can land, and then add enough sugar to taste to the water. The flies will be attracted to the sweet water, and they will be trapped inside the trap!
