The Diocese of Rockford is investigating allegations of sexual misconduct against Rev. Matthew DeBlock, a former principal of St. Edward Central Catholic High School in Elgin. The allegations date back to his time as an assistant principal at Boylan Central Catholic High School in Rockford. DeBlock has been removed from ministry pending the outcome of the investigation.
