Description

This group analyses if ableism is a central focus in curriculum, teaching, and schools in general. We will also investigate how a student’s disability status and other elements of their identity (such as ethnicity, gender, language, race, religion, and sexuality) intersect with the cultural aspects of exclusion in education. Educators will learn to foster an inclusive classroom style to reduce exclusionary pressures in educational facilities and work toward equality in both procedures and outcomes.
