This group offers an introduction to audiology as a profession and the field of diagnostic audiology in particular. The group will discuss a range of topics, including the effects of hearing loss, traditional processes used in hearing assessment, how to interpret the findings, physiology, anatomy, common pathologies of the auditory system, and the relevant criteria required to make audiological referrals.
