The group will explore a range of intervention techniques that teachers can use to enhance the abilities of readers who are struggling. We will split teaching processes into four main categories in literacy development: comprehension, fluency when reading aloud, writing, and word knowledge, which includes vocabulary, spelling, phonics, and decoding. Educators will learn how to match the student’s assessed literary needs to the most appropriate teaching technique and how to differentiate the teaching methods required depending on set levels of reading achievement.
