This is an amazing group that explores what it means for a student to be gifted. The group explores how teachers can accommodate gifted learners and breaks down assumptions that can be made when they are present in the classroom. Best teaching practices are also reviewed so that teachers can better understand the necessity for differentiation when there is a diverse student population present. Lastly, the group explores underrepresentation and how it can affect gifted programs and explores possible solutions to bring more inclusiveness in the school system as a whole.
