Academics: Master’s degree with a 3.25 cumulative GPA in graduate coursework. The candidate must have at least eight credit hours or one year of accredited experience completed within the last six years.
Experience Requirements: Must possess a valid Kansas professional teaching certificate to be eligible for a school counseling license and complete a supervised practicum by enrolling in practicum credits during your initial year of employment as a counselor under your conditional license. Pathway programs are also available for those without teaching experience.
Assessment: Praxis II: School Guidance Counseling, minimum 600.
