How to Delete Purchases from Your Amazon Order History

Introduction:

Amazon is the go-to online marketplace for millions of customers worldwide, offering a vast array of products and services. However, in using Amazon extensively, your order history can become cluttered and disorganized. If you wish to delete purchases from your Amazon order history, follow the steps outlined in this article.

Step 1: Access Your Account

1. Log in to your Amazon account by visiting the official website (https://www.amazon.com).

2. Locate and click on the “Accounts & Lists” tab at the top right corner of your screen.

3. From the dropdown menu, select “Your Orders”. This will redirect you to your order history.

Step 2: Archive Your Orders

Unfortunately, Amazon does not provide an option to permanently delete orders from your history. However, you can archive your orders so they won’t show in the default order history view.

1. Browse through your current order history to locate the purchase you want to remove.

2. To the right of that specific order, find and click on “Order Details”.

3. Within the Order Details page, locate and click on the “Archive order” button.

4. A confirmation window will appear, where you must click “Archive order” again to complete the process.
Repeat these steps for each individual order you wish to remove from your visible order history.

Step 3: View Archived Orders

Although archived orders are hidden from your default order history view, they are still
accessible if necessary:

1. Head back to the “Accounts & Lists” dropdown menu and select “Your Account”.

2. Under “Ordering and shopping preferences”, find and click on “Archived Orders”.

3. Here you can view all previously archived orders in case you need any information or details.

Conclusion:

While it’s not possible to completely delete purchases from your Amazon order history, archiving provides a convenient way to declutter and manage your past orders more effectively. Keep in mind that archived orders are still accessible on the platform in case you ever need them for future reference. By following these simple steps, you can maintain a streamlined and organized Amazon order history.
