Treating Reflection as a Habit, Not an Event

Reflection is a habit, not an event.
Here are five ways to habitualize reflection:

1. Make a list of your thoughts and feelings.

Make a list of all the things you’re thinking and all the things you feel.

2. Take some time for yourself.

Take some time for yourself to reflect on all the things you’ve been thinking and feeling.

3. Find a comfortable place to reflect.

Reflection can be done in any environment but a comfortable place will make it easier to focus and stay focused.

4. Use a timer.

In addition to taking time for yourself, try using a timer to help you reflect on your thoughts and feelings. This will keep you on track.

5. Talk to someone.

If reflection is difficult for you, talk to someone else about it. Talking about your thoughts and feelings will help you understand them better and work through them.
