The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) has taken a significant step towards strengthening its academic leadership with the appointment of a seasoned and experienced leadership team. Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Steven R. Nail, has welcomed the new team, comprising of accomplished individuals with a proven track record of excellence in their respective fields.
The new leadership team is comprised of Dr. Amy Chasteen Miller, who will serve as the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Dr. Chris Crenshaw, who will assume the role of Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness, and Dr. Julie Schwab, who will take on the position of Associate Provost for Faculty Development. Each member of the team brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having served in various leadership positions at USM and other esteemed institutions.
