Muncie’s education landscape received a boost as the ‘Circle of Ivy’, a women’s philanthropy circle supporting the Ivy Tech Foundation, awarded more than $6,000 to support programs at Ivy Tech Muncie/Henry County. This generous contribution aims to diminish barriers to higher education for local students.
The funding will support two key initiatives: Rudi’s Success Nest and Campus Canvas. These programs are designed to provide essential resources and support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their educational goals. The ‘Circle of Ivy’ has grown significantly over the past nine years, raising more than $1.4 million statewide to assist students across various disciplines.
This philanthropic effort highlights the community’s commitment to education and demonstrates the power of collective giving. By investing in local students, the ‘Circle of Ivy’ is not only supporting individual aspirations but also contributing to the overall economic and social development of the Muncie area.
