Dordt University’s townhomes to be completed by mid-August

Exciting news for students and faculty at Dordt University: the highly anticipated townhome project is nearing completion, with an expected finish date of mid-August. The new residential complex, located on the university’s campus, promises to provide a modern and comfortable living space for students, enhancing their overall college experience.

The townhome project, which broke ground last fall, has been progressing rapidly over the past several months. The construction team has been working diligently to ensure that the project is completed on schedule, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Once finished, the townhomes will offer students a unique and desirable living arrangement. Each unit will feature four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living area. The townhomes will also boast ample parking, outdoor recreational spaces, and convenient access to campus amenities.

According to university officials, the townhomes are designed to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among residents. “We’re thrilled to offer our students a living environment that promotes socialization, collaboration, and mutual support,” said Dr. Eric Forseth, Vice President of Student Life at Dordt University. “We believe that these townhomes will become a hub of activity and connection on campus.”

The completion of the townhomes is expected to coincide with the start of the new academic year, providing incoming students with a modern and comfortable place to call home. With the added capacity, Dordt University will be able to accommodate a growing student body, further solidifying its reputation as a premier institution of higher education in the region.

As the finishing touches are put in place, students and faculty alike are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to experience the new townhomes. With its focus on community, comfort, and convenience, this exciting new development is sure to become a beloved part of campus life at Dordt University.
