Successful early childhood education (from birth to the age of eight) relies on relationships with children’s families and communities. This group will delve deeply into formal and informal learning environments (e.g., home, daycare, and after school programs) to understand environmental effects on children’s growth, learning, and overall wellbeing as well as the procedures and strategies that better support family and community engagement and positive results for children.
