This group will conduct a general survey of conceptual issues that underly schools of thought or families of inquiry. Educators will be introduced to diverse methods used when carrying out an educational inquiry, examples of the typical uses of these methods, as well as an exploration of their inherent strengths and weaknesses. A continual theme of discussion is the nature of knowledge and objectives of inquiry.
