This group will use the sociology of immigration and anthropological theories of globalization to explore the critical aspects of incorporating migrants and exclusion processes. Participants will examine case studies about refugees’ adaptation, displaced persons, and immigrants into countries in the North and South and analyze educational methods and policies developed to address mobility issues in various contexts.
