This group will explore parental involvement in the special education of infants, children, and teenagers with disabilities from both a current and historical context. The group will emphasize approaches, materials, and strategies needed to facilitate continued participation by the parents and wider family to strengthen and empower the relationships between the home, school, and the wider community.
