This group will explore issues and methods used when developing a suitable curriculum, how to access curricula for general education, and meaningful assessment strategies and procedures for students with moderate to severe disabilities in an educational environment. Topics the group will discuss include inclusion, how to develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs), identifying students’ assistive technology needs, conducting assessments using environmental techniques, and assessing general education curriculum.
