This group will provide an overview of the theoretical foundations of reading as well as the causes, characteristics, and available treatments of dyslexia. The group will discuss the history of dyslexia, viewpoints of dyslexic individuals, laws and educational policies concerning dyslexia, and methods of educational and technological support for promoting success in reading and writing text.
