Study.com – With over 25,000 video lessons and other resources, Study.com allows students to extend their knowledge of course content from home, or it can be incorporated into classroom lessons to meet student differentiation needs. There are options to take coursework for college credit, to receive homework help or complete study prep, and engage in professional development work. With videos ranging from the history of Sparta to working with fractions, Study.com can be used with students from K-12 and beyond. Any college credit earned is easily transferrable to over 1,500 U.S. colleges and universities. Teachers can enroll their classroom, assign videos and lessons, and even access printable resources such as worksheets designed to pair with video content.

Report Comments BankNote Taking – This is an online school report bank that writes school reports that saves educator’s time in reporting their students’ progress. ClaroPDF Pro – This is an iOS app that lets you make notes and highlights on your PDF files. PDF files can be read back to you in human-like voices. You can also listen to PDF files in the background while you work on another app (useful for proofreading).

Sonocent – makes it easier to take better notes. Coursera– This app is designed to help college students make the right choices when it is time to decide what courses they want to take in college. It helps to prevent waste of money. It also helps with the elimination of the course they don’t have interest in by providing free online courses beforehand.

iTunes U– iTunes U has the biggest database of free education from museums, universities, and cultural institutions. It provides instructors with all that they may need to bring the classroom together on an iPad. You can start class discussions, build lessons with apps and your personal materials, collect and grade assignments, or have a conversation with students to answer questions.

Querium Corporation – Querium uses AI in their company to help students with STEM skills so they can be ready for further studies at high schools, colleges, and universities. The Querium platform delivers personalized, bite-sized lessons and step-by-step tutoring assistance. Its personalized program is called StepWise, and it works on smartphones and computers.The company uses artificial intelligence for STEM (math, engineering, technology, and science education) applications. The app’s cognitive assistant helps students as they come across obstacles.

ABC Phonics – Word Family Tree– Combines phonics, spelling, beginning sound word family phonics, short vowel sounds, and images with many visual enhancements for each word. This app is great for workplace and classroom use.

iThoughts– The iThoughts app comes with a simple design and a user-friendly interface. This is a mind mapping app that helps you to organize ideas and visualize concepts. It is available on Apple products and Windows.

MindMeister– MindMeister is an app available for both Apple and Android devices. It is geared toward dyslexic students, who typically have a difficult time reading the board, listening to the teacher, and taking notes. Using MindMeister to make mind maps and collaboratively create digital notes, students can get creative, keep up, and learn much easier. This app is useful in any classroom or school scenario, as you can analyze papers, notes, projects, or whatever you need with mind maps and graphic organizers.

SpiderScribe– An online mind-mapping and brainstorming tool, SpiderScribe allows students to organize their ideas in any subject. They can connect notes, files, calendar events, images, and more in free-form maps. Everything created in SpiderScribe is easily shareable online, and all maps are stored in the Cloud so students can access their work from anywhere. This app can also be used for collaboration and group work, as multiple users can access a single map simultaneously.

Coggle – Is an online mind map that can be used only with chrome. It comes in 3 versions. These are “free,” “awesome,” and “organization.” Give it a spin and see how you like it. It has a lot of functionality and allows you to create your mind map in different colors. This is an excellent choice for schools that have limited financial resources and cannot afford a paid product.

MindMapple– This app works well for visual thinkers as it also enables you to utilize clip art and other visual tools. Another neat feature is that you can cloud share your creations via Google Drive. As you might have already figured out from the name, it also works for Macs, which is excellent news for Apple enthusiasts.

Bubbl.us – A useful resource for making visually attractive concept maps. You don’t have to download any software to use this product. Also, the maps that you create can be saved as an image, and it allows the user to share their maps and collaborate with other people. Some of the features are a bit dated, but all an all, it’s a useful resource.

Popplet – A useful mind mapping tool that allows students to create and share concept maps. It provides a variety of features, including recording notes in various formats with text, drawings, and images; linking notes with each other, exporting your final product as PDF or JPEG; it supports several languages, etc.

Creately – Provides lots of pre-designed templates, supports collaborative work, integrates with third-party tools such as Chrome Store and Google Apps. It also comes with lots of resources that help students to learn how to create, organize, and present their concept maps.

Lucidchart – You can use this app to create concept maps, charts, and various types of diagrams. It also supports a lot of collaborative features and can be used with multiple devices. It doesn’t have a wealth of features, but if you are looking for a robust mind mapping tool, it’s a good choice.
