Quinnipiac University has pledged $300,000 to the Town of North Haven for the renovation and expansion of the North Haven Fire Department’s Station 1, located in close proximity to the university’s campus. The generous donation highlights the strong partnership between the university and the town, demonstrating a commitment to both community safety and mutual benefit.
The funding will be used for critical updates to the fire station, including improvements to living quarters, expansion of the apparatus bay, and installation of modern technology and equipment. This investment will enhance the fire department’s ability to respond effectively to emergencies, not only within the town, but also on the university’s bustling campus.
